Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run: Some Thoughts
I won’t have a chance to write a formal race report for a few days, but I did want to share some thoughts. I managed to finish in 23:39, which beat my previous 100 mile PR by about four hours. I have a ton of people to thank:

Western States Pre-Race Update
I haven’t had too much time to write since arriving in Reno and the Olympic Village here in Squaw Valley… so this is my attempt at a brief update.

Why the reverence for Boston?
My friend Shelley Viggiano recently blogged about qualifying for the Boston Marathon. By the way- check out her blog, she’s an awesome writer! It’s a goal many of us runners have.
