Boulder Naked Foot 5k, Free eBook Version of The Barefoot Running Book!

Shelly and I are traveling to Boulder, Colorado this weekend to participate in the Boulder Naked Foot 5k.  If you are going to be in the area, it will be worth the trip!  Here are the tentative festivities planned:

  • Ken Bob Saxton, author of ‘Barefoot Running: Step by Step‘ will be talking at Outdoor Divas from 6-7 Friday night
  • Shelly and I will be hanging out at the Merrell tent at the race starting at around 7am
  • Kids’ race: 8:30
  • 1 Mile race: 8:40
  • 5k race: 9:00
  • Barefoot/ minimalist shoe Q&A with me at the Merrell tent: 10:00-10:30
  • Tentative- Barefoot/ minimalist shoe trail running workshop with me: 10:30-11:30

We may be holding some contests with my book as prizes… stay tuned!

    Thanks for the book link! I’ve been following your blog for about 6 months now and it’s definitely helped me along in my new barefoot adventure. Although I’m sad I won’t be able to attend the Boulder run/event (I live in Colorado Springs), I hope you all have a great time.

    p.s. – purchased the trail gloves a couple of weeks ago for the rougher terrain I like to run and man, they are awesome.

    We’ll be through Boulder on Monday. We’ll miss the whole thing! I hope the 5k goes well. In Boulder, I’m sure you’ll find a lot of like-minded people.

    Be sure to stop by Breadworks on Broadway while you’re in town. Good stuff.

    I love that you are offering your book for free! It really is a great source of information and it shows how passionate you are about sharing that information with anyone and everyone. I hope your trip brings you to Utah. Have a great time!
