Barefoot Runners Society forums
Barefoot Ted McDonald’s site and Google Group
ShoelessShelBel’s blog (my wife)
Dr. Dan Lieberman’s barefoot site at Harvard
Paleo Diet
John Durant’s Hunter-Gatherer site
Fitness
Pete Kemme’s Crazy-Ass Workouts

My new teaching/education blog (warning: you won’t find muffins wrapped in rainbows here… the blog is pretty critical about our entire U.S. education system)
Other sites I like
Tim Ferriss’ “4 Hour Work Week” blog
Stumble Upon – The greatest idea ever… great for killing several hours of free time (PS- feel free to “like’ http://tbfrb.com, the site for my book)
Facebook – my preferred social networking site
Books I Highly Recommend
Ignore Everybody by Hugh MacLeod – a bible for creativity
The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss – reformatting your life
Rework by Fried and Hansson – creating an effective business
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey – becoming a better person
The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey – Get out of debt without getting too geeky
Bad Childhood – Good Life – Laura Schlesinger – I categorically disagree with 99% of her politics, but this is a great book that could replace years of therapy
Born to Run by Chris McDougall – If you are a runner, you need to read this book.
The Barefoot Book by Daniel Howell, PhD. - The single best treatise against shoes
The Barefoot Running Book second edition – Okay, I just had to add it.

November 16, 2010I am relatively new to barefoot running, but fully committed. (Reading your book helped to push me over the edge.) I have also been mining this site for more information and additional resources. These new links are great. I am especially enjoying the personal blogs, reading other people’s experiences with barefoot running. Thanks!
