October 8, 2010Those ZEM Socks look pretty cool! Seems like they would solve the problem I’m having with my Vibrams – there is extra sole material on the ball of the foot area and as a result focuses a lot of extra pressure in that area, as opposed to the distributed impact I feel when barefoot.
In my mind, I was imagining what I would make to solve that problem, and ZEM’s sock with rubberized striations is very similar to what I was imagining!

October 7, 2010I look forward to your reviews! One thing I would love to see you include: for those of us in cold climates, which of the minimal shoes would be suitable for winter running? I live in Canada, and for the first time have the desire to keep running into the winter, but after running all summer in bikilas I cannot go back to my old heavy shoes! I would love to know what my options are!
